Key Club is the world’s largest and oldest service organization for high schoolers, and Key Clubs throughout the nation are sponsored by local Kiwanis clubs. Key Club in Minot offers opportunities for students to develop leadership skills as they learn what it means – and how good it feels! – to give back to their community. Teens build confidence and character and become more well-rounded individuals and members of the community.

Key Club at Central Campus, for example, is a group of high school freshmen and sophomores dedicated to serving their communities. This particular Key Club has between 35 and 75 members annually who participate in various service projects throughout the school and community, from fundraising for a student who has cancer to assisting in other community organizations with activities for area youth, the elderly, individuals or groups with special needs, to any other opportunity that may arise during the year. Key Clubs rely on the help of its coordinators and sponsoring Kiwanis Club to supervise and advise the group as well as furnish financial help when needed.
