Become a Kiwanis Member

If you’re interested in becoming a member, please talk to any Kiwanian. The application process is easy. Simply fill out the application and bring it with you to a Tuesday meeting or send it to the club by email or mail:

Kiwanis Club of Minot
P.O. Box 663
Minot, ND 58702

Dues are collected quarterly and cover the cost of International and District fees, weekly luncheons, and fundraising efforts. As of 2019, current dues and luncheon fees are $150 per quarter. Many employers are willing to support service club membership, and in some cases, corporate memberships are a good option. Contact any current Kiwanis member or [email protected] with any questions you might have.

Who is My Sponsor?

The application for Kiwanis asks you for a sponsor. If you have talked to a Kiwanian about joining, they will be happy to sponsor you. If you have not talked to a club member, the club has many willing sponsors who would be happy to make sure you’re meeting new people at meetings and making the most of your Kiwanis membership.

Talking to Your Employer About Membership Benefits

Because employers often see the value in having employees engaged in Kiwanis, many are willing to contribute to or pay this on behalf of the Kiwanis member. Below are a few reasons employers support Kiwanis:

  • Kiwanians stay informed of local issues through weekly speakers
  • Network and nurture professional relationships with other Minot area professionals
  • Support the Minot community with volunteer hours
  • Help local children live better lives

Personally, benefit from:

  • Good for business and career development (recognition, networking)
  • Satisfaction of community volunteerism
  • Meet new people interested in community involvement and service
  • Relaxing, fun and informative luncheon

For more than 90 years, Minot Kiwanians have been giving back to the community, helping kids and having a lot of fun along the way. One of the greatest gifts you can give yourself is the gratification in knowing you are contributing your time and talents to service efforts.
